PJ Harvey to publish first volume of poetry

The Hollow of the Hand is a collaboration with Seamus Murphy, who created films for the album Let England Shake

Not content to be bound by the song, PJ Harvey is to release a book of poetry and images. The Hollow of the Hand, created with the photographer and filmmaker Seamus Murphy, is a 224-page collection that chronicles the pairs travels around the world over the last three years, to locations including Kosovo and Afghanistan. The pair had previously worked together when Murphy made a series of 12 films to accompany Harvey’s album Let England Shake.
